Product Description

Tungsten Alloy Cylinder

Tungsten alloy cylinders are the superior product for balancing and weighting cars.      Tungsten is 3.2 times heavier than no-lead weighting material often used on cars, thus it enables tremendous flexibility in the design of the car. Incremental it contains five 1/2 ounce cylinders, one 1/4 ounce cylinders, and two 1/8 ounce cylinders. Using the incremental cylinders, you can achieve any weight between 0 and 3 ounces in 1/8 ounce increments.
Also known as 'Crankshaft Mallory Metal' this procedure is required when there isn't sufficient counter weighting provided on the crankshaft, for instance when changing from external balance to internal balance on a cruciform type crankshaft (American V8).
We are able to determine the required amount of heavy metal and carry out the machining process to accomodate the required heavy metal slug. The 'slug' as its called is manufactured from compressed Tungsten particles (95%) in bar form that is then machined to the reqiured size and pressed into the crankshaft counter weight.Tungsten has a higher density than steel 18 grams/cubic cm as opposed to steel 7.8 grams/cubic cm.

Usually, tungsten alloy cylinder could be manufactured as the parts for military applications, extrusion die and various kinds of counterweights.
  Tungsten Alloy Cylinder Specification:
