Introduction

 Cemented carbide is a powder metallurgy product made of carbide micron powder with high hardness refractory metal as the main component, Co, Ni or Mo as the binder, and sintered in a vacuum furnace or hydrogen reduction furnace. Cemented carbide teeth with high wear resistance and impact toughness are used in the production of various down-hole drill, shiel cutter, coal mining tools . All such tools are widely used in mining and oil exploitation, tunneling and other industries.
